This Novel Coronavirus Disease (COVID-19) pandemic is unprecedented and imposes challenges to the provision and delivery of healthcare.
The situation is very fluid: however, we will endeavor to keep you up to date with the changes as new regulations, guidance, and guidelines are given.
The State of New Mexico has begun to open up more businesses and loosen the restrictions of the initial stay-at-home order.
Here is an update on what La Casa Family Health Center has in place:
We have begun offering expanded in-clinic services including but not limited to well-child checks and/or recommended vaccinations, sports physicals (if necessary), and age-appropriate screenings for pediatric patients. (View La Casa News for information regarding our Summer Wellness Campaign)
Older adults with underlying conditions are particularly at increased risk for preventable disease and complications if vaccinations are deferred, therefore we will be providing care for our adult population and we will make every effort to ensure that our patients continue to receive vaccines, screenings, and necessary health maintenance.
Please note that telehealth visits will still be available if necessary.
